Terms of service

By using Chốt CV you agree to these terms. The product is a personal CV drafting and optimization tool with human-in-the-loop AI — not a job board, employer marketplace, or B2B school product in V1.
The service
Chốt CV provides a web workspace (and PWA) where you can interview-build or upload a CV, paste a job description, receive diagnosis and rewrite proposals, choose templates, and export PDF and/or PNG. Features may be limited by billing mode (free, shadow, or paid) and rate limits. Optional company public-page research is not a guaranteed knowledge base. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
Accounts and access
You may use parts of the workspace anonymously with local drafts. Signing in enables cloud save, dashboard recovery, and paid entitlements when billing is on. You must provide accurate account details, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or security risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse APIs, scrape aggressively, bypass rate limits, or attack infrastructure.
- Upload malware or content you have no right to process.
- Use the service to spam, harass, or systematically deceive recruiters with fabricated employment history presented as fact.
- Resell access, reverse-engineer for competing clone services in bad faith, or use automated bulk generation beyond personal job-search use without permission.
- Violate applicable law while using the product.
AI suggestions and your responsibility
AI output is advisory only. The product is designed so proposals appear as diffs; nothing is written into your CV until you Accept (or you edit yourself). You own the truth of your application materials: you decide which dates, titles, metrics, and claims belong in the final CV before submitting to employers. We do not guarantee interview outcomes, ATS pass rates, or that any model is free of error.
Intellectual property
You retain rights to the CV content you provide and the final text you accept. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service (including AI gateway calls, export rendering, and cloud storage when signed in). Chốt CV branding, templates layout code, UI, and product software remain ours or our licensors’. Do not remove required brand marks on free-tier exports where brand lock applies. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
Free and paid features
The Free tier is for building, fair-use JD optimization, and exporting professional CVs: guests get 11 basic templates and a small brand mark on export; signed-in users get all 16 templates and brand-free export. Pro (when checkout is enabled via PaymentPort; listed at 49,000₫/month on Pricing) unlocks the top AI model and interview briefs — not a “nth customization” meter. Until payment is live, billing may run in free or shadow mode: features stay open while checkout is off. Purchased Pro periods are honored as of purchase; prices and plan names may change. Consumed AI usage or completed paid periods are generally non-refundable except where local law requires.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” within the limits of applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, perfect parse quality, or employment results. To the fullest extent permitted, Chốt CV and operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost offers, lost data after you clear local storage, third-party model downtime). Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim or (b) a modest statutory minimum where required. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; those limits apply only to the extent allowed.
